Update on Andrew Johnston - Bullied Choir Boy....

Many of you have been asking for an update....

Not long ago I brought to you a video clip of a 13 year old, bullied, choir boy in the UK auditioning for the show, "Britain's Got Talent", as he sang the first part of Pie Jesu like an angel. Well, it appears that Andrew Johnston lost to a talented young dancer on the show with his own sob story, but there is interest in signing Andrew, and another, so it seems.

He [Simon Cowell] has already expressed his desire to work with Faryl Smith, the 12-year-old soprano, describing her voice as "one in a million".

And he has made no secret of his admiration for the voice of Andrew Johnston, the 13-year-old choirboy who defied the bullies to perform on the show.

Cowell is in talks with the parents of both young singers, but it is Escala who are closest to signing a big money deal, according to insiders.

They will be signed to his record label, Syco, a division of music giant Sony BMG.

For now, I'll leave you with additional YouTube clips I have found. In this first one, you will see Andrew's final performance in which he sings the entire Pie Jesu - with class.

Here is Andrew's peformance in the semi-finals:

Here is the 14 year old winner, George Sampson and his final performance.
